Nathan N. Ferrer’s two young daughters stayed up most of Monday night, refusing to go to sleep until their father came home. That never happened. Ferrer was returning from a pickup soccer match when a speeding Mercedes Benz, fleeing police, struck the pickup he was in, killing him.
